Surprise! Look who we found at Church!!! David & Donna Dalton, from our home Stake in Provo! They are here visiting their daughter, Melissa Bradford, who lives in our Ward here (but we hadn't made that connection since this was only our 2nd week). Melissa has lived in a number of different countries because her husband works for Merck Pharmaceuticals, and has written a book called, Global Mom.
Our Ward is the Frankfurt 2nd Ward, commonly called the International Ward which is conducted in English, but I've never heard so many different accents in one place! The people who speak/teach are absolutely amazing! So many outstanding people: former mission presidents, people who have served several missions.
We were invited for Sunday dinner by the Castletons from Boise. She is a nurse for the Frankfurt Mission and he is on the Area Legal staff. The Rysers from SLC who are assigned to the medical staff joined us. Wow, both couples are such wonderful people! Castletons are the parents of a friend of ours, Tyler. They are one of the few couples who do not live in the apartment building near the office, but are just a 10 min walk away.
