Ken and Marlene Matheson have been called to serve as full-time missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) (commonly known as the Mormon church). As full-time missionaries, they will be known as Elder and Sister Matheson, respectively. On January 26, 2015, they began their two-week formal training at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah U.S.A. and at the LDS Church headquarters in Salt Lake City. They are assigned to labor and serve for 18 months in the Europe Area LDS Family Services office located in Frankfurt, Germany.
